The 2013 DJ Expo, held this year from August 12-15 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, set a record for attendance and saw many of the industry's biggest names gather for four days to celebrate, collaborate and discuss the state of the DJ world.
Over 6,400 DJ professionals and hobbyists attended the event. Held at the Trump Taj Mahal, the 28th Expo (in its 23rd year) was produced by DJ Times and Testa Communications and featured over 200 exhibitor booths from 100 companies. Among the many products on display were the latest hardware and software tools, stage lighting devices and specialty DJ tools. Among the many vendors and manufacturers represented were Mackie, Blizzard Lighting, American Audio, Stagg and of course, KPODJ.
In addition to the hundreds of companies that demonstrated new products and services, attendees were treated to performances by DJ Kool, Biz Markie, Skribble, Page, Krewella and Audien. There were also information sessions from top DJ professionals.
"On behalf of everyone at DJ Expo and DJ Times, we want to thank our exhibitors and attendees for their participation and for making this year's show our most successful ever," Vinny Testa, Publisher/President of Testa Communications, said in a press release. "It's hard to believe that we've been presenting this show for 23 years, but we're always grateful for the DJ market's confidence and support."
KPODJ made its fifth appearance at the show, managing booths for American Audio, Stagg and Blizzard Lighting and showing off the best new products from these manufacturers.
