The Chauvet COLORband PiX-M USB, a moving LED DJ light strip, is a versatile wall-wash light that can create dynamic sweeping, chase, animation and blinder effects thanks to its rotating base, pixel-mapping capabilities, and the ability to control each of its 10 LEDs separately. Its motors allow you to angle the light where it’s needed. COLORband Pix-M USB features D-Fi USB compatibility for wireless master/slave or DMX control but you can also access dramatic, pre-built automated programs with or without DMX. This is one of my most used lights for events. This newer version has 10 LEDs versus last years model with 12, but the overall brightness is greater. Each Pixel is independently map-able so creating Pixel-mapped images is easy with free DMX software like QLC.<br /> <br /> As a wash, The PIX-M covers a large wall easily and can create some interesting striped effects for something other than a plain color.
Wow, this is an awesome fixture for the price. It's way brighter than i thought and still have alot to learn cause there are so many different configs. Only had one week but seems well built and durable, probably the best fixture I've purchased so far.
