AKG CK-99-L (AKG CK99L)
Lavalier Mic (bodypack and receiver not included) - Will plug in to body packs or instrumental sets such as the WMS-40 MINI Instrumental Set
Inconspicuous clip-on microphone
Natural, airy sound
High ambient noise rejection
Low-profile, cost efficient clip-on microphone for applications including houses
of worship, lecturers, etc. Connects to AKG bodypack transmitters.
The CK 99 L provides a natural sound, with a slight rise above 10 kHz for added
clarity. Its cardioid polar pattern and bass rolloff combine to suppress
unwanted ambient noise.
It's a decent sounding mic. Pretty nice when it comes to lavalieres. My only complaint is why didn't AKG give this mic the full treatment? It comes packaged in a bland white box with the mic, a pop filter, the clip, and manual wrapped in bubble wrap. No stickers, no warranty card . . . kind of weird.

Meanwhile the AKG C417L which is $50 less comes in nice retail packaging, with a case, a better lavaliere clip (that makes it easier to do the loop with the cord), and other niceties. I don't get why AKG didn't do that for this mic.

Sound-wise this gets 5 stars, especially for the price. But only 3 stars for cutting corners on the box, not as nice of a clip as the C417, and especially not having a pouch/case included.
