American DJ Dotz Par (ADJ DOTZ Par)
The ADJ Dotz Par uses advanced COB (Chip On Board) technology allowing for a powerful LED engine to be placed in a small amount of space. The result is a high output, smooth color mixing LED Par with no RGB shadows. Designed for mobile or permanent wash lighting of stages, clubs, dance floors and churches. The COB LED engine on the Dotz Par is a TRI 36W (3-In-1).
The Dotz Par produces wash of 60-degrees (25-degrees if you put on the supplied lens kit). It has 4 DMX Channel modes for programming flexibility, 35 built-in color macros and 5 selectable Dim Curves. The fixture has many pro features such as: 0-100% electronic dimming, strobe/pulse effect, Flicker Free operation, DMX and power power daisy-chaining, and a 4-button LCD DMX display. Dotz Par may run in its stand-alone mode from built-in programs, sound actively, from a DMX controller, or from the ADJ Par RF wireless remote control.

The best pars on the market for the price hands down. Can be used as wash or uplighting. New COB technology. I highly recommend and got a great price from KPODJ.
Bought these to use as a wash fixture. Used them last night at a wedding for uplighting. They come with a removable filter that screws onto the front of the light (permanent screws so you cant lose them). For uplighting I prefer to use the filter because it gives a "tighter" beam angle and more focused on what I was aiming for. For washing a dance floor I prefer to use them without the filter. I used 4 of these and covered a 1300 sq ft area no issue. Great Light and super bright.
I bought these among a few other models looking for an option to wash a wide area of a white event tent during evenings. The 60 degree beam angle without the top filter was very appealing for this use and I thought I would like it the best because of that. for multiple reasons. I thought it would be a great wide wash for the tent, and would also give me a great wide option to point them downwards on people without blinding them. This light accomplished both of those things however I ended up choosing a different option due to the 36W cob not being powerful enough for this purpose. ADJ does carry another dotz model with nearly double the power however I felt the price point provided better value elsewhere. I ended up going with the hotbox 5 units. The brightness even with the narrow beam angle set is significantly better. The tradeoff was they are so bright when angling downwards they might be bothersome to some people. I knew this when purchasing. I intend to use the dotz par to splash a color on backdrops or walls for weddings rather than use a couple uplights on either side. I think the value is pretty good and I like the cob format. It just didn't provide the oopf I was looking for at distance. I hope that technology expands and becomes cheaper and more efficient over time.
