These are amazing column systems. They pack enough punch to do most weddings. Not only are they compact and great for any mobile DJ.
I bought these to replace Bose L1 compacts and K-Array KB1 for ceremony/cocktail hour duty. The K-Arrays replaced the Bose, since the Bose had volume and depth issues. The K-Arrays were a better solution, but still fell down in terms of overall loudness. After using the Evolve 50 one time, I was blown away at how much headroom you had at the top end, and how full the sound was. You get the feeling of full sound, with bottom end to boot, something you really don't get with some of the other smaller column systems. I think the 3" midranges are the difference on the tops here. I love the input flexibility as well. For the price, these are excellent speakers, but I probably wouldn't replace my standard mains with these, not unless I was only doing a dance set for 100 or less attendees. Great, useful speaker system, and setup is faster than anything else I've ever used in this category. Highly recommended.
