The American DJ Mega Flat Hex Pak is ideal for up lighting professionals to transport and store their Mega Hex Par LED fixtures. All fixtures, cables and controller fix inside the protective case.

These lights are my first go-to light for any gig in need of lighting. The HEX LEDs are very nice. The wattage (30W total per fixture) is such that I don't over spend for super bright fixtures but instead get that nice pattern and glow up the wall. I put these along walls, I attach these to Tbar stands, I put these everywhere including traditional stage down lighting and footlights. At the VIP discount, these are hard to beat. You could look at the China knockoffs but not with the LED life rating of these. Also, pay attention to how the DMX and Cabling is lined up and appreciate that there is no wonky angles that have to be made when wiring these. The last thing I will say is that you can chain 30 fixtures on a single line... with a nice wifi controller and a wifi receivers, these can do wonders.
First time owning these pars. Love them so far. I almost regret buying the 12 Chauvet slim par 56 I currently own. The colors are incredible. Love that the Hex Pak comes with a bag and DMX cables. Still learning how to use the different modes as opposed to my slim pars 56. Will most definitely buy more if I need more uplighting. Can't afford the wireless ones as of now Lol!
I'm liking it so far, haven't tried them in live setting, just tried them out in my room a soon as I got them. I'm using them dmx with the lightrider app. I love the colors very vibrant color and a lot of mixing options. The only downside is that one of the dmx cables was damaged, and wss messing with the dmx signal before I figured it out. Definitely recommend can't beat the price.
I love these lights! Purchased these back in Nov. 2017. They have better color and brightness than the American DJ Mega Flat Pack Plus that I bought. Looking to purchasing more of these in the future.
Reasonable quality pars for the price (with the members discount), in fact best price for any pars I could find besides the worthless knockoffs. RGBAWU is miles beyond RGB or RGBU, both in terms of the colors you can get and the light power. (And who uses UV anyway?) Used four of these paks (16 fixtures) in a show recently--good light output, good appearance, very low power draw. Planning to buy another one or two paks for the next show to round off our par needs, so we only have to rent moving heads.<br /> <br /> Out of the 16 fixtures one was bad, but by the next day KPODJ got us in contact with the manufacturer, who overnighted a replacement fixture without needing us to send back the defective one, and of course at no charge. Replacement arrived the following day (2 days after the original packs arrived)--excellent service KPODJ! Will definitely come back for any future large gear purchases!
These lights are incredibly bright for the money and can do more things than I've learned in DMX so far... Had them for about 2 years now with no issues. Easy to set up and tear down, great for backlighting or faced down as stage lights.
