I never thought speaker stands were a bi deal until all the knobs started breaking off, leg housings started coming off & my previous stands just wouldn't hold up. Then I saw DJ Brian S Redd introduce me to these bad boys. The FRANKENSTAND! Built like a tank, no more struggling to get my speaker up! EZ Up EZ Down. EVERY mobile DJ or band should own these!
really like the product and the company behind it
excellent use of product for our youth dj program for setup and teardown of our rig
I Saw these Bad boys on a Youtube video ... I just had to have em
cant wait till there back in stock so I can order more...
the stands were "as advertised". this purchase will help me be a more independent DJ. now, i won't have to "bribe" people to perform roadie services for me any longer when i have a speaker only setup.
Stands are really well built! I did have a bit of an issue pulling the pin to raise/lower, but I am attributing that to my "learning curve". I am 5'3" so these definitely made it SO much easier to get my 49lb speakers up to an appropriate height. Glad I purchased them!
Being female & getting older, I am always looking for ways to make my life easier. Have known about them for awhile & finally decided to buy. SO GLAD I DID. So much easier to get my speakers up & down. GO ahead....buy them...you know you want to......
Nice air powered stands overall. Very well built construction. The locking pin is the most important reason I choose Frankenstand than any other brand. Appreciate the included pole adapter. The air shock can be a little smoother, but overall I'm very happy.
Ok fellow DJ's, this is an investment that is a must to have in your arsenal. Frankenstands are the easiest speaker stands to work with. Don't settle for cheap stands. As the old saying goes, work smarter not harder. These are the last pair of speaker stands you will need to buy. Unless you need more than just the one pair. Highly recommend these stands.
So i saw this product, waited to purchase, like I do, then I waited some more. Then I bought two they changed everything and now I just bought a third! The only stand i'll use. I've had two sets of other speaker stands. Not even in the same class as a Frankenstand. These are so beefy and solid. Stable. Sometimes I use my stands on less then ideal or flat surfaces, shale, forested areas sometimes I use my stands on loose rock or in high wind situations. I needed something solid. These are the best.
excellent product and I cannot complain
I have been looking at and thinking about gas assist stands for years. When I finally decided to buy I kicked my research into high gear. I finally decided on FRANKENSTANDS. I have used them a couple times now and found them to be perfectly suited to help lifting my small JBL EON-15 powered speakers. I also greatly appreciate the price break from KPODJ.com. I saved $60 on the set and who know how much on the free shipping.
I was excited to receive The FrankenPack F1 until I opened up the individuals boxes of each stand. One box had the F1 and the other box had the F2. Interesting enough, both boxes were label as F1. I am sure it is not KPODJ's fault since the product is made Frankenstand. If I were to rate KPODJ, it would be 5 stars for their service. If I were to rate Frankenstand, it 3 for being inconvenienced. Other than that the speaker stands are awesome and easy to use.
These are Awesome. I've been looking at these for two years, I finally bought them and I'm stoked. Work smarter not harder, Speakers are up high and I didn't lift them there. One of them needed a touch of lubricant in the moving parts upon arrival, Helped big time. Arrived quickly, Kpod is solid. These are so much "Beefier" then all of the other stands I own. Strong and stable, they are heavy as a result. The test of time remains. I use stands every gig, I wanted the best and the most intelligent. I believe this stand to be that.

KPODJ - great folks!
Love the stands - the carrying bag, not so much. I've had them now for almost 3 years. They are well built & make my life SO much easier.

Now for the bag. It looks & feels well built & I like the separate compartments for each stand. BUT, the straps/handles ripped loose after 3 months. I only do 1 gig a week, if that! Contacted Frankenstand & they immediately sent another bag. KUDOS on their customer service. Unfortunately, the straps have ripped loose on that 2nd bag. Took a year, but they did come loose. Again, they are not being gigged hard or tossed all over. Anyway, the stands are still more than worth it!
