Triangular Truss - This type is triangle truss, and its commonly used for hanging lighting equipment from smaller, floor mount systems. They are popular for DJ setups and small events. The Global Truss Truss System and Arch System are complete set-ups that use these triangular trusses. But you're able to make your own systems with the truss segments, trussing corners, and base plates.

I-Beam Truss - This truss has an I-beam shape, and its often used to span longer distances, when the load is not heavy enough to require square trussing. Often, I-Beam, or ladder trussing, is used in the same set-up as traditional F34 square trussing.

However, in place of the square truss unit, you can use a pair of I-Beam trusses or four single truss poles can to create a similar effect, especially if truss scrims are used.
The truss totems typically are made from lightweight aluminum and come in a range of sizes. The truss sections are interconnected using specialized clamps or connectors, which allows them to be stacked on top of each other to create the totem structure.
