The Yamaha DXR12mkII represents the next generation in Yamaha’s acclaimed DXR line of powered loudspeakers. Developed in collaboration with touring experts at NEXO, the MKII model upgrades the original DXR with a more efficient, lighter HF driver, enhanced SPL, and better coverage dispersion thanks to its redesigned constant directivity horn.
This bi-amplified, 2-way 12" speaker delivers peak performance of 1100W, making it capable of handling both small club gigs and large venue setups. Built-in FIR-Xâ„¢ crossover tuning with 48-bit DSP ensures exceptional phase coherence and sonic imaging, while Yamaha's D-CONTOUR processor adjusts EQ in real time to maintain clarity at any output level.
The DXR12mkII’s 3-channel mixer supports a wide variety of inputs, from microphones and instruments to RCA stereo sources, giving performers, DJs, and presenters a self-contained solution without needing an external mixer.
